Taking Villages
Villages work differently than outposts. We do not take outposts unless the player has left the game, but villages are pretty much, you have to grab them to have one, so the rules change there. My village rules are much like our no bully policy. You don't take from pacted, non agg or no hit list alliances. You don't take more than one from any player, unless they have so many, you have no choice. You can take as many as you want from anyone we are at war with!

Bully Policy
We do not send more than one attack at a time.
We do not revenge attack.
And anyone over 26 level cannot attack anyone under 26 level. The reason is that they do not have access to decent soldiers until level 26, so attacking them would be like clubbing baby seals. Not cool!
If in doubt ask me. I know some rules seem wrong, but after awhile you will see exactly why those rules are in place.
If you get bullied, come to me immediately. Send related battle reports and a note explaining any history. I will make it stop. But I can't until you fill me in. I see a hundred battle reports a day, So I may not see the pattern unless you message me.
I have many people that complain about my bully restrictions weakening them, yet despite their claims, we have been THE strongest alliance with the lowest level players almost from the beginning! We have been top 10 ranked with half our people level 20-30 guys. It's completely unheard of. And why do they think that is? Because of my bully policy. We don't have every alliance out there gunning for us or our guys because we are a bunch of bullying tyrants. Because I use diplomacy to settle disputes instead of revenge attacks that would put us in constant wars.
Don't get me wrong,I do get it to a point. I would love to stomp the crap out of so many people I can't because it's not in our alliances best interest. It's not like I don't have the same urges as everyone else, I just put my alliances well being above my urges.
We have friends all over the place because of our policy. Honorable people respect us and dishonorable ones don't. I could care less about them anyway. So if you feel that our policy is too restrictive, then please do us all a favor and leave now. There are a lot of alliances out there that are looking for people like you. We just aren't one if them.

Cost of Alliance
I have heard that people sometimes question why I boot people out for disappearing for days or not supporting the family or donating resources etc... The facts are this:
An alliance is extremely expensive. Right now 2 member spots cost 100,000 rubies and each time I add two that price goes up even more! Every time I upgrade our support travel speed or other alliance bonuses it's very expensive in rubies and gets more so with each upgrade. My next support speed upgrade cost will be 100,000 rubies. Between my 2 alliances I have spent around $2,000. In addition we are a top 10 ranked alliance.
For both these reasons, our alliance cannot afford to keep spots filled with people that don't play daily, that don't support their fellow members, that don't donate resources yada yada. I make clear upon joining what we expect from you and if you aren't going to do these things or be there for us, we don't want to waste our expensive spaces on you, when they could be better filled by a team player that is here for us.
Those that move up in the alliance and gain honor learn fast why we need team players and most understand that we only have 45 spots and every one of those has to be a strength and not a drain on the alliance if we want to remain a strong alliance.

Promotions
Promotions are not given based on how long you have been here, but instead based on how much of a team player you are. My officers get there because they play almost every day, they talk in chat, they donate resources to help the alliance grow, they are the first to send support and resources to their family and answer questions when asked. They fight for, defend and care about our family.
Becoming General means I feel that we trust each other and the alliance members trust you. My generals are my right hand. They are loyal to the family and always have the best interests of the family at heart.
So if you care about advancing in the family, these are the attributes I look for.

Watchtower
The most important item you can and should actually spend real life money / rubies on in this game is a Watchtower.
A Watchtower will make all the difference in being able to get support to you in time when you are attacked. Especially if you are any distance from support. Without one, we get 20 minute warnings. This is not enough for it to be noticed, posted and someone to organize and send you troops. My Watchtower regularly gives me 1.5 hours warning of attacks, but mine is upgraded to second level. But even a first level will increase your notice time greatly.
Many alliances require watchtowers to join. All the larger ones do. While I do not want to force anyone to spend money, a watchtower and 2nd level stables are a necessity in Dragon Bloods to operate efficiently. I won't require one in Dragons Nest, but if you want to go to Dragon Bloods, you do need both. $5 of rubies during a ruby sale will get you both.

Poaching
We have had players poached from us by other alliances. If you are just here to get trained and move on later, please don't waste my time.
If you are going to leave for the first offer you get, again, please leave now.
As you get stronger there are a lot of dishonorable alliances that will try to poach you from us. They don't want you when you are young. It's us that welcomes you and makes you a force to be reckoned with. That takes a lot of my time and energy to do; but I do it so we will have a close, strong and loyal family.
If you stay here, I want you to make the promise to both of us, that barring any internal conflicts, you will stay with us and be as loyal to us as we will be to you. Running two alliances, a small business and homeschooling my son are time consuming. I could choose to go out and steal other players instead of taking the considerable time to train you, but I am an honorable person who refuses to stoop to their level. Besides, can you really trust someone that deserts an alliance for yours? Those aren't the kind of people I want in our family.
Two paths lie ahead for each of you. Embrace your new family or leave to find that which will make you happy elsewhere.

Leaving Alliance Due To No Time
In the future if anyone comes to the decision to leave this game because they just don't have the time to play it, I ask you to give your alliance a parting gift. Please donate your resources, tell me that you are leaving and give me your log on password so that someone else with no support can take over your castle and we don't lose the strength. I have a couple here and several in Dragons Nest with no support near them and while we are trying to get them some, a ready made castle in a supported area would be even better.
Not that I want anyone to leave, but this game does take a lot of time and it can become a burden instead of fun when you no longer have that time. I understand that completely and I will always stand by your decision to leave the game.
Giving us your password will not give access to anything but your castle. Not even your email address! No financial either as that is tied solely to your phone.
I hope no one feels the need to leave, but if it happens, you would leave making your alliance happier and stronger for it.
Already 2 of our members have been gracious enough to do this for us and I thank them dearly for it!
Thank You!
